Before time and space, everything was chaos. Useless and meaning less chaos. No one knows for sure how the order started. The legend says the beginning of everything came from another world, but no one's sure. They call it the "original spark". When the spark appeared, the chaos itself changed. Everything started to surround it and revolt around it.
For a long time, it stood there, doing nothing. Eventually, something or someone in there "woke up". When it contemplated the vast emptiness that surrounded it, it was disgusted. There wasn’t any kind of forms or colours..
So its first action was to take a form for himself. He took the form of a man.
After that, he decided to put some order in the existing chaos and created 4 elements: water, earth, wind and fire. In order to create those elements, he took mass from the chaos, leaving some mass without form to work with.
Chapter two: Creation of the universe.
Being a curious entity, he wanted to experiment a little more, and create something for his experiments to exist. So he created the “space”, in which he gave form to the universe. Being an all-powerful entity, he could have of created everything in an instant, but he decided to organize his universe in consecutive periods, wich he called “ time”. After all, being an experimenting entity, he wanted to observe how his experiments would develop.
When he saw the newly created universe, all his found was boredom. He realized he hadnt created many forms or colours yet, so put some more order into his creation.
He organized the universe and created the land using the earth. In its depths, he put the fire, being the most destructive element, which had to be guarded and held by the others. He covered the land with the water, and above everything, he put the wind. He was surprised to see how his before meaningless creations, somehow were working together to form something in perfect harmony.
Chapter three: Creation of the day and night.
Even having created something out of the chaos, he wasn’t pleased to see the world still empty. Realizing he was the only sentient entity, he wanted to create others like him.
Seeing the darkness wasn’t completely dark or light wasn’t completely bright, he decided to create an entity to be the embodiment of both. He gave the entity the form of a woman. He named the entity "Dillum".
The creator was happy because he didn’t feel lonely anymore, but Dillum wasn’t so happy about not having a purpose but being merely companion for the creator. So she roamed the land, trying to find something to do.
Dillum learned that she had the power to control the day and night, also the cold and hot. For many centuries, Dillum served as mate for the creator. Being his first creation , the spark allowed her to do whatever she wanted without any kind of boundries or discipline at all.
When the spark saw the chaos she was causing, he learned the great mistake he made, and decided to destroy her.
Refusing to get destroyed, Dillum used her powers against the spark, in a futile attempt to survive, only being able to scar his face. Before she got destroyed, Dillum gave birth to two 2 children:
A girl, with pale skin and silver hair, and a boy with tanned skin and blonde hair. The embodiments of night and day.
The original spark cried out loud for having to destroy his mate, but he had two children now. He named the girl "Li" and the boy "Mu".
The siblings, inherited their mother’s relentless nature and used to play all the time, chasing each other, which created another kind of chaos: now the day and night were out of control.
Their father, who’s main goal was to create order, started to think what he should do with his childrens. Not wanting to destroy them, he realized that the best option was to “trick” them. He proposed them a game. He told Li that he had to chase Mu without letting herself get caught, and he told Mu to do the same with Li. This way, Li became the sun and Mu became the moon. So they’re chasing each other since then, allowing the day and night to exist.
Chapter four: Giving life to the world.
He was pleased, seeing that now there was order. He knew his power over life, but now he had learned his power over death as well, which frightened him. He was capable of healing the scar that Dillum gave him, but he decided to keep it as a reminder that he had to be very cautious with his future creations
When he contemplated his world, and realized it still needed lots of work to do. It needed colour. Suddenly, he noticed that from the blood he spilled at the fight with Dillum, some little things were formed. He looked closely and he saw that the first plants were born. He discovered that his own blood gave life to the world. He went up to the sky, the highest he could, and cut his own wrists, spilling his blood all over the world. The water and wind helped to spread it all over the earth, and the earth let some of it filter to its core, where the fire laid.
After doing that, he was exhausted and weakened, about to die, when he heard a voice “You’ve given me life, so I shall return you some of it”. It was the world speaking to him. Just when he was fading out, a woman appeared in front of him. When he woke up, his wounds were healed. Still a bit weak, he contemplated the woman “Who are you?”, he said, ”You’re not one of my creations”. “No, I’m not” said the woman “In a way, I’ve always existed in the chaos, but I didn’t have form. When you gave form to the elements, I started to think, but I didn’t have life until bathed the world in your blood.” The spark didn’t completely understand what she was saying, so the woman seeing his confusion, added some more “I’m one with the world you created. I’m the embodiment of the world that received new life and all the life in it”.
“Do you have a name?” asked the spark, “Well, I might be a little older than you, so noone was around to give me a name, but you can name me if you like”. “I like the sound of Gaia” said the Spark. “Ok, that shall be my name, but what about you?” replied Gaia. “I’m nameless”. Gaia replied: “That’s silly, I’ll call you Eram from now on”. “Ok, that shall be my name” said Eram.
Eram and Gaia walked the world together. Gaia created more plants and filled the world with them as a present to Eram, since he liked the forms, colours and smells. Eram created the first animals, and told some to feed with the plants and some others to feed with other animals. So the life started it’s cycle. Born, feed, grow and die. For first time a everything was balanced.
Chapter five: Creation of the first race and the titans.
Eram was pleased for a first time in all his existence. The world was growing with life, he had a companion and his 2 children, who were still playing, were helping to maintain life. But even together, Eram and Gaia felt lonely.
The couple agreed to create a race that could think and develop together as a group.
Their first attempt was to give life to the elements. Some creatures made of each element were created, but they lacked of intelligence. Eram, seeing their failure, tried to destroy them, but Gaia still saw them as her children, and without telling Eram, she hid them into their source elements.
Their second attempt was more successful. They created a race of beings very similar to them, and called them “titans”. They were made of the mass from the chaos that Eram didn’t use in the creation of the universe. For this reason, they were godlike. Their intelligence was vast, they were powerful and were eager to learn and create, just as Eram was at the beggining.
For a while, Eram and Gaia were content with this new race. The first creations of this race exceeded Eram and Gaia’s imagination. Some were marvelous and glorious creatures, but some were hideous and destruction was in their nature. Eram seemed to forget that the mass from wich he created the titans, was taken from the chaos itself, so their nature was to create chaos.
Chapter six: Destruction of the titans.
The titans started to make more and more creatures to destroy each other’s creations. Every creature they made was more powerful than the others, and some were powerful enough to destroy the whole world.
Eram didn’t like it, because Gaia and his world were in danger, so he asked the titans to stop creating such creatures. A few agreed to stop, but the rest rebelled against Eram. Eram remembered the reason he got scarred and didn’t want to risk the titans to grow in power.
From the same mass he created the titans, he made the first weapon in the universe: the Excalibur. With it he slayed almost all the rebel titans. Only one remained: the one named Zathroth. Zathroth managed to escape with help from Gaia, who no matter what, loved all her children.
The titans who didn’t rebel against Eram were spared, but they had to work closely to Eram, so he could watch their actions. Their job was to create new areas and give form to the land. In order to please Eram, they created a diversity of ecosystems: desert, glaciers, forests, swamps, etc. Each one with different kinds of creatures. Still having their nature of titans, so they kept creating monsters capable to destroy, respecting Eram wishes of not creating something too powerful capable of destroying the world. Eram was pleased with that and they became his greatest helpers. So Eram granted them names: Landfear and Muchoban.
Chapter seven: Creation of the elves, dwarven and orcs.
Without telling Eram, Gaia created a new race: the elves. This race was peaceful. They praised the nature and protected all the living beings. Gaia didn’t make them too powerful, but she taught them to use the living force that existed around the world, an aura of energy that was created when Eram spilled his blood around the globe. With this energy, they fought the monsters that Zathroth was still creating somewhere, and kept them in line.
The titan Landfear told Eram about Gaia’s doing. When Eram heard Zathroth being hidden somewhere, he couldn’t help but fall into a berserker spree. Blinded by his rage, he destroyed a part of the world. Landfear tried to contain Eram so he wouldn’t destroy everything, but in the process, he lost one of his eyes. From his eye, which had seen a lot of evil creatures, the orc race was born.
When Eram calmed down, he was ashamed of what he had done to Landfear. He offered to heal his wounds and restored his eye. Eram gave him a new eye, capable of seeing the good and evil inside creatures.
When Eram confronted Gaia, she had already created another race: the dwarves. Eram looked down to this race, and understood Gaia’s reasons to create new races without telling him: she wanted to make the world better so Eram would be happy. But Eram couldn’t forgive Gaia for hiding Zathroth, who somehow was gaining power by creating evil creatures.
Chapter eight: Battle against Zathroth.
Gaia couldn’t stand Eram being mad at her, and offered Eram control over the races she had created, so they could help him find Zathroth and defeat him.
Eram gave the metal to the dwarves, so they could forge weapons and armors. He gave the elves the mastery of snipping, so they could fight with distance. He asked the titans for help, to find and kill Zathroth.
When they finally found Zathroth, he was hidden beneath the earth. Zathroth was draining the life from Gaia straight from the world’s innercore. Using the energy from Gaia and all the living things from the world, he was getting more powerful. He was something else now. A new god.
Eram, using the Excalibur, and with help from the elves, dwarves and the titans, fought Zathroth for days. The battle changed the face of the world, hurting Gaia in the process. When they finally defeated Zathroth and Eram was about to kill him, Gaia appeared. She told Eram that Zathroth was bonded to all the living things in the world as he became the evil inside them. Landfear, used the eye given by Eram to confirm this. Now all living things had some amount of evil inside them. If they kill Zathroth, there was a chance that everything in the world would die with him.
Eram took Zathroth and imprisoned him in a place made by Landfear, where he wouldn’t be able to escape. But Zathroth wasn’t totally defeated, has his army had spreaded all over the world, hiding and waiting for the moment when his master would call them.
Chapter nine: The last race.
The world was decimated, and more than half of the living beings died by cause of the battle against Zathroth. The elves were a small group now and the dwarvens decided to guard beneath the earth, in case Zathroth scaped from his prision.
Gaia and Eram, decided to create a final race in order to repopulate the world: the humans. They weren’t perfect, as they had capacity of doing a lot of good, but also cause great destruction. Eram asked the master elves and dwarfs to teach their skills to the humans so they can be the next race to fight Zathroth. Some of the humans, learned about the existence of Zathroth and praised him as a god, wich slowly, will give him power to come back.
Gaia was also weakened by the battle, so she decided to sleep for a very long time. Eram was alone again in this world. He took form of a human to walk among them. When the first created human asked his name, he didn’t like it, so he gave Eram the name “Erimyth”. Erimyth found it funny and was happy that finally one of his creations gave him a name. Now Erimyth, Landfear and Muchoban walk among the humans, watching them, guiding them and preparing them for the moment when Zathroth finally comes back.
